We, the Board of Directors, met on Monday, January 16th, for our standard monthly meeting. During this meeting, much conversation was had regarding the long-term plan of the Cooperative. However, the focus of the meeting was on a short term, temporary plan to help bridge the gap from March 1st until the details of a long-term, permanent plan can be worked out in full.
The next day, Tuesday, January 17th, we met to finalize this temporary plan. The meeting concluded with the hiring of former General Manager Jim Knake, as Interim Manager! We are certain that Jim will bring the same humble confidence and stability to this transition period that he brought during his successful career.
As stated in previous communications, we sincerely appreciate your loyalty and the trust you place in our Cooperative. As we continue to discuss the future, we want to ensure you that our plans include a fully operational grain elevator in this part of the county so that we can continue to serve you throughout the year but especially at harvest. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to a board member. Thank you for your trust, Brent M Neukomm President Goodwine Cooperative
