Good morning. Turnaround Tuesday? Corn and soybean markets are slightly weaker this morning as short covering has evaporated and crop ratings continue to be very good – corn rated as good or excellent was unchanged while the soybean rating increased by 1% which makes this year’s bean crop the highest rated ever for the first week of October. Higher markets with beans leading the way on potential harvest delays? Today’s rally may be more of a technical bounce, combined with a lack of selling interest. Technically, CZ above the 20 day MA for first time in 5 weeks; SX testing the 20 day MA. Rains to move from the southern Plains and Delta into the ECB later this week.
